EMBARK Peekskill is a nonprofit coalition of performers, writers and community supporters committed to the establishment of
an arts center for everyone.


CURRENTLY we operate from an administrative office with a spacious common room area on 12 North Division St. #302, Pkskl, NY. For four years we leased and managed two spaces in Pkskl: three years at 925 South St. and one year at The Flatz Building.

  • WE Support artists and companies who create, collaborate and teach

  • WE Create opportunities for community participation in the arts

  • WE Produce performances, workshop and events
     

Our BIG VISION space includes some or all of the following:

  • Large (500 seat) Theatre
    with wing and fly space

  • Medium (200 seat) black box/experimental space

  • Small (75 seat) concert/lecture hall/cabaret space

  • Scenic and Costume  
    Shops and Storage

  • 2-4 large rehearsal studios/classrooms

  • Several practice rooms

  • 2-4 Writing Rooms

  • Children's Craft and Sewing Room

  • Cafe/meeting space/Gallery
